My son had an appointment with Dr Fani for his allergies at the Massapequa location. I wish I got everyone's names that helped us bc they were all amazing! I was greeted immediately by the front desk staff. The check-in process was quick and easy. The woman that checked us in was very sweet and energetic. The whole atmosphere of the office was just very inviting. The medical assistant was kind and helpful. Dr Fani answered more questions for me in the 20 minutes I spoke to her, than our ENT and pediatrician combined, over the past 9 months. Then we spoke to a nurse about allergy shots. She explained everything clearly and sent us on our way.

The staff at Heart & Health North Babylon are very helpful. Kristen is excellent at the check in desk. Jasmine has, on multiple visits, been extremely informative and pleasant in reviewing medical information and setting me up for various heart tests, which is great when you go in very nervous about the tests.

i’ve always loved this office. Even after having moved further away from it I still drive the distance because I adore everything about this place. from the efficiency of the receptionists, to dr gutierrez himself. everyone is so kind and dedicated to the work they do and to the patients health. I never feel like any of my concerns are dismissed. At one point i had a pain in my foot which I had been to many doctors for and this is the only office that didn’t gaslight me and actually sought out to find an answer and explanation and the source of my pain which they did. if you’re looking for a new pcp i highly recommend coming here!

Was seen in the Massapequa office today- was nervous about my appointment, i was having severe facial swelling for a month. The front desk staff, the nurses and the DR were the sweetest. The pcp don't mess with I'm scared to give 1 star cause if I do I'm afraid I won't be able to go back so I'm just saying everything instead the dr was trying to send me to the er not caring that I was too far from my house and I would have been sent somewhere far away I had to cancel my car service and walk up the hill to the side streets and wait to I got another car service cause they called 911 like they didn't trust me to go home get my stuff and go to a place that was near me the rest of the dr was OK but the pcp and I have not used any of there service in too years

I saw Dr Hansen 3 days ago for my feet. She is definitely nice and knowledgeable. She is everything...., a very good podiatrist. She took her time to listen to and understand me. My feet was worse then ever. She patiently clean it; and help me schedule my next appointment for next step treatment. I have been seeing Dr. Abrash for over 10 years now, and when he joined Heart and Health, it truly changed my life, especially when COVID was around because I’m a high-risk patient. When things were bad back then, Heart and Health always saw me and got me the help I needed. And when my doctor got COVID, Heart and Health held me down, kept my medication going, and helped me with everything. And their staff is beyond amazing, very caring, and everyone there really knows what they’re doing, so I always feel welcome and always know if I get sick or have any health issue, that I can rely on them, and that makes me feel so relieved.

The entire group at heart and health are amazing from the staff to the doctors! Kristen, Debbie, Lilly, and Kat are fantastic!! The perfect staff to accompany such great caring doctors!! Dr. Nick saved my mother's life when other doctors didn't dig deep enough and Dr. Guida is so very kind. Every person from entry to exit of this facility is better then the next. Hands down would recommend coming to any of the heart and health locations (north babylon is my favorite) absolutely wonderful people!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Nick, he saved my life! I needed to be cleared for surgery, while in the past my other Cardiologist just cleared me, Dr. Nick would not. He sent me for a CT Angiogram which showed several blockages (80%) in my heart. Dr. Nick immediately made arrangements for me to have stents put in which has not only saved me, but has given me a better quality of life. I also have to commend his staff they are amazing. The girls truly care about you and treat you like family. I recommend Dr.Nick from Heart and Health to Everyone who's looking for a Cardiologist who puts his patients first.

I have been seeing Dr. Gutierrez for years now and he has been one of the best doctors I have had. He listens to concerns and works with his patients to find solutions for a better lifestyle. Love this office!!! When I arrived for my first appointment, which was with Dr. Mary Infantino, for my elevated glucose and weight loss, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles by Tina and Pat. From the start Dr. Mary spoke with me in depth about my health concerns and goals! I have been very successful in my journey! She is a true professional, always made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions and concerns. Dr Reisman , Dr. Kavesteen, Dr Nick Demetriou , Mary Infantino pretty much all providers, give the best of their knowledge in healthcare to treat and future treat patients Properly & accordingly. The front desk is Hard job with all calls and checking insurances maintaining offices, as most of the managers are Front Desk . The work that everyone has to do always gets done every day. Been here five years now , I’ve noticed only an incline in the patient flow and positivity feedback from all patients I’ve seen which is many ! So shout out to the A-Team for keeping it an excellent Cardiology place to take yourself and loved ones. Many of my friends and family go here . Always a pleasant experience at the North Babylon office. Front desk ladies are always pleasant and check in is always quick and easy. I have been seeing Dr. Guida for over 20 years first with my two sons and now for myself. Dr. Guida is very pleasant, knowledgeable and never rushes through the visit. Allergy shots are painless and have help tremendously. Everyone who works there is pleasant and makes for a nice experience. I would highly recommend them.

I visited for the first time yesterday, and I could not be more pleased. I have been putting off going to a primary care doctor for years. I am 60 and that's not a good thing. I have a lot going on physically and the more you put it off the worse it gets, as we all know. When I came in and sat down with the CA, whose name, unfortunately, I did not catch, she kindly asked me what was going on, and all of a sudden I started crying out of nowhere. Because there's just so MUCH going on and I didn't know where to start. She was very comforting and told me not to worry that no matter how bad it was or what was going on the doctor would fix me up. I felt like a complete fool, but she got me a tissue and a glass of water, took my vitals like there wasn't snot running down my nose, and in 5 minutes Dr. Guttierrez was in the room with me. He had read my chart previously so I didn't have to go over the whole thing with him again, unlike a lot of places where you have to repeat yourself over and over again. We discussed the most urgent parts of my situation and made a plan as to what to do first. He also urged me to promise to follow through with the plan. I explained to him that I suffer from agoraphobia and the only reason I had gotten to that appointment was because one of my friends had promised to come. He understood that so I told him I would work it out so that I could have a friend come with me to each appointment that I have to make. Blood work was done, referrals were made and I was on my way. No extra tests, nobody tried to sell me anything extra, I don't know what those people are talking about in those other reviews, but yeah, nobody tried to upsell me or anything like that. It was just an overall great experience in a beautiful, clean practice filled with wonderful, knowledgeable staff that were more than happy to help you out.I cannot recommend this place enough. I'm only sorry I waited so long to go in. I kept canceling my appointment because I was terrified. Now I'm so glad I went. I really wish I had gotten the name of the woman who had taken my vitals but I'm sure you can look her up by my name on this review. She deserves a raise at least. To put up with a sniveling sixty-year-old sitting in the corner of an exam room deserves some kind of metal at least. And Dr. Guttierez is excellent. He understands addiction and alcohol medicine better than most, and that's a rare thing these days because a lot of doctors just don't get that and that's dangerous for the patient. I will be recommending this practice any of my friends who are looking for a physician. Thank you guys for making my visits so much easier

Heart and Health Medical's North Babylon location is a great choice for your heart health. I have been to many doctors including a cardiologist previously. They told me that I have a very healthy heart after performing EKG or Sonograms.But Doctor Nick Demetriou insisted on to go into the details. He sent me for a CT scan. He found out that I have two clogged arteries. Basically, he saved my life. Thank you doctor Demetriou.

I started going to see Dr Nick for almost a year now and ever since I have he has done everything in his power to help me. I just graduated from getting my masters, work 2 jobs, and kids. My life is very stressful and it’s ver y hard to control my blood pressure. Dr Nick is so caring and understanding. He takes the time to listen to what you’re going through. He runs tests that he feel will help not unnecessary test. He is playful and kind. He remembers everything about your life and asks about your family. I will never stop going to him and I recommend everyone to him. He has an amazing team of people that work with him and if I could give him 100 stars I would. I've been going to this office for about 3 months now after feeling chest pains. Not only did the Nurse practitioner Samantha amazing, the nurse staff who took my information and stats down was awesome as well. I'm always nervous about going to new doctors and couldn't believe how kind and understanding they all are. Samantha and the nurses who helped check me in the first time listened to all of my concerns and gave me a detailed plan of the next few tests she had planned and even said that if for some reason my insurance didn't approve any tests they would call me and figure out another way to get to the bottom of what was going on. All in all a very good location and staff, you'd be crazy not to want to go here for help.

The reason I'm giving this a 3 star review because of my visit for today and seeing how calloused Dr. Guiterrez was. After telling him about a few physical medical issues that I'm currently dealing with, I requested if he could fill out a physical form from Dept. Of Labor for my employability (which I shown him that form from the last visit prior to my phyisical for today) so I can get these medical issues taken care of. After getting the treatment I need then I can go back to preparing for job readiness.He was avoidant on filling out the form and suggested that I should have a Psychiatrist fill out a PHYSICAL form for the Determination of Employability. The reason of him mentioning this is because I opened up to him about the past trauma that I've been through and after telling him, he really shown me on how he lacks empathy and how careless of a doctor he really is!!! His excuse to my current issues is that "I'm still young and I should get a psychiatrist to be put on psych meds." Which sounds very ableist, if you ask me.There's more details to mention and I'm already typing in a novel about my experience with this doctor. After having this negative experience of seeing him, I might want to switch to another doctor in that practice. Unbelievable!

Dropped the ball.I reached out to Heart and Health to see Dr. Mary about womens' health. She prescribes for bio-identical hormone replacement which is not covered by insurance. This was back in October 2024. We opted for another rout for treatment but as of today the prior auth has not been done. I have called and confirmed with the office staff and my pharmacy the paperwork was sent. I know they have the paperwork and I went to the office too to confirm but the answer I get "we are backed up". I would think that being as patient and polite as possible I would get somewhere. I have resorted to posting a bad review.

Before this practice moved to Coram, I went to the Middle Island office. My PCP was great. She is an NP and she actually cared about my wellbeing. Albeit, the staff was sometimes rude, I dismissed it because she was super kind. When they combined practice and moved to Coram it became a chop shop. My PCP was always rushing me and she seemed overwhelmed. They just kept ordering tests that I didn't need. When I did those tests and had to follow up with specialists, they would never call to confirm the appointments and I would have to repeat everything again at my appointment. There is clearly no communication between specialists there. I went 3 times and the last time was the last straw. They only care about money and ordering tests. I felt like I was at a grocery store with the amount of unnecessary tests they took. Kristie Kramer was great but she seems to be taking on too much and rushes you out the room. Sorry but I will never return. I now go to Catholic Health and they use an organized and uniform system. They actually care about their patients and they don't overcharge or rush me. Don't waste your time at Heart & Health. You will never see the real doctor who owns the place there ever. I would rather travel 30+ min to see a doctor who cares about my health rather than go to this chop shop! The staff is nice but that's about all the good things I can say.

So deeply disappointed with this office. I come in and find Pat, Tina and Kathy are no longer in the office! I was repeatedly asked who I was, who I was here to see. I have been a patient here for years and always felt so welcomed and loved seeing them up front. I cant believe they were fired for their age! Those women knew every patient that walked through that door and always made sure my appts and everything were verified prior to coming. Whats next? The Drs?! How awful.Someone skipped ahead of me on check out and apparently thats fine.I was taken into the back room and the garbage was overflowing onto the floor.The M.A. was certainly nice enough. Won't say names so nobody will be retaliated against but apparently this is an office that doesn't care about their patients, staff or cleanliness.

This Levittown location and staff and doctor are not knowledgeable.The receptionist tells you need a referral when you don’t she says they don’t draw blood when they do the doctor Devine sends you for tests you dont need according to two other doctors outside this facility, this was a total waste of my time and health. Dr.Devine is the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen if you could even call her a doctor would be a stretch I mean that. Like she super rude and disrespectful and doesn't like or care and you can tell within 10 seconds. Like I said I been out of scripts for a month because of change in insurance she like why haven't you taken your meds I'm like I just told you. Also I don't mind wearing a mask but the front desk recommend me wear one because they had multiple sick patients there and the doctor insults me for wearing one you staff told me to wow just wow I will never go back for my mental and physical safety.

Worst possible experience ever. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Completely incompetent, ignorant and rude staff. Called them for getting some information on my medicine and nobody has a clue. Even before there were times when my pharmacy never received proper documents and communication from Heart and Health. I went there to speak to an allergist and no diagnose, nothing, but simply was told that they will put in the new order for my medicine, which got denied by my insurance due to inadequate documentation that Heart and Health was supposed to provide. I called my insurance office and pharmacy and both said they never received any documentation from the doctor at Heart and Health. Plus, it was denied a month ago and this place never even informed me that my medicine was denied, simply ignored by the staff and the doctor. Additionally, whenever you call them they sort of have an attitude as if they are doing some favor to you. Very unprofessional and incompetent staff. Will never like to do business with them any further. Go somewhere else for better care. Avoid this place.

My prior cardiologist charged me only a $50- co-pay while doing an echo & sonograms during the visit. I wanted to try new cardiologist closer to my home only for preventative care with No cardiac issues, they kept making a new appt for something new 'just to be sure', not realizing I had approx 7 visits paying $50 co-pay for each visit, i called for a quick question to speak to Dr Nick D advising 'i've been there so many times can Dr Nick call me' but noone said i would be billed another $50. Then i called to question the bill i find out when Dr Demetriou called to say stress test results are good, i was billed for another co-pay. How about 'we'll only call you if there's a problem. Now i'm looking at $500 cost including imaging co-pay just for preventative care compared to $50. Being thorough is one thing but this is way over the top & unacceptable, besides being unethical

This is by far the worst place . If you are new looking for a primary or even coming back RUN. Behrouz Farahmandpour is the most unprofessional ridiculous doctor here. Showed up 30 minutes early for my 2:40 because I’m new and thought I had a lot of paper work to fill out. This guy had me waiting till 4:40 and I stayed and waited he finally comes in and had the worst attitude like he really didn’t want to be there and was stuck up and getting angry. Honestly just a very uncomfortable experience and then I legit walked out in the middle of him listening to my lungs . The worst experience at a doctor and it’s not even close

I did not have a great experience here. From the front desk, to their accounting personnel, to the doctors (the medical assistants were wonderful though, and this review does not reflect my experience with them, which was perfect). I had a follow-up in January, for a blood test only. When I arrived I paid a co-pay, and after waiting almost 45-minutes, the doctor didn't even know why I was there. When I reminded him that I was there for a follow-up appointment at his recommendation, I was told I needed to go somewhere else due to my type of insurance. Considering that I'd had the same insurance for almost 4 years, I asked why I would be asked to come in (rather than being sent directly to the site lab), have a co-pay collected, only to be told to go somewhere else. They eventually agreed to take my blood on-site (the results for wish I was separately charged for by the lab, which I paid for).After almost 2 weeks after the blood test with no call with the results, I was forced to call the office to request them, and left a message for a call-back from the doctor. He called, gave me my results and a recommendation, and then almost 4-months later, I receive a bill with no explanation of details. When I inquired with accounting, I was told that I was charged for a "tele-health" visit for the call from the doctor to receive the results of a blood test THAT I PAID FOR. I called and spoke to multiple people in the office, and was told I would receive a call back, and still have not received one over a month later.I have never had such a negative or unprofessional experience with a doctor's office. It is not standard in the medical profession to charge a patient for the results of an exam. For as long as I've been going to doctors (over 30 years) I have NEVER been charged for simply getting the results of a test.The bill itself isn't anything I can't afford, but to be charged more than $50 for a call I should have already been entitled to is absolutely shameful. That amount could feed a family.
